Rob's a very talented artist who's always keen to discuss and hone a project throughout the process to ensure its success. He's produced some fantastic illustrations that have really brought the pages of The BMJ to life. He's also a joy to work with and always delivers excellent results on time.
Richard Hurley, Features and Debates Editor, The BMJ
Rob is a maniac, but I mean that in the best possible sense. I've now worked with him for over 10 years and his art makes me laugh in ways other artists do not. His custom scratchy style is reminiscent of Quentin Blake (particularly when working on The Twits). However, beneath that rough façade there's a true artist who is capable of high-level work in a variety of different styles. He's also bloody funny. Did I mention that already?

Having worked with Rob for a number of years, his work has provided many moments of joy plus some incidents of involuntary tea spitting. His diverse styles go from taking the surreal to new levels to the sublime and thought provoking. His humour, often acerbic, is something to be cherished, while his strong work ethic is to be respected.
